Last week across the bank holiday weekend, we visited Paris and witnessed Rock en Seine swing open its gates at the handsome Parc de Saint-Cloud to over , music fans as they gathered to celebrate the fifteenth year of the festival. Over and above some of the artists and bands appearing, Gigwise thinks nothing of the sort. This is the City of Light after all. A band which is now unbelievably 20 years down the line but can still deliver a shoegaze or dream pop master class that somehow and inexplicably receives far more respect on the continent of Europe than it does from our own shores. On the final night of the festival, the band explode with big sounding super shots from their recent comeback and eponymously titled 4th album conjoined with 90s classics like Catch the Breeze and the eternal Syd Barrett tribute Golden Hair.
Every year, this festival attracts thousands of festivalgoers to the Domaine National du Parc de Saint Cloud. The British band will perform a concert for over two hours! You want more? Finally, how could we speak of Rock En Seine without speaking of Aphex Twin , his last concert in France being in ? Opening Time From 23 August to 25 August
